3 products I can't get enough of!

Happy Monday!

This week, being my second full week of job hunting, interviews and trying to find somewhere to live in the big city, I felt it appropriate to post a blog today.

Yay.

There are 3 products that I cannot live without on day-to-day basis...These include,

My Canon EOS Rebel T3
Canon EOS Rebel T3- Image from pcmag.com

Seriously. One of the greatest cameras I have ever owned. It is SIMPLE to shoot on Program, but it is also so easy to maneuver from one setting to another. The picture quality is astounding, I just used it at my graduation, and got a really awesome Facebook cover photo out of it... I was afraid the resolution wouldn't mesh with FB but it did! Schick Hydro Silk- Image from momitforward.com

The 2nd product is my Shick HydroSilk razor. O.M.G. The thing is awesome. I used to be addicted to another brand of razors, which will not be named, but they have something to do with planets ;) haha Anyways. The HydroSilk razor combined with the Skintimate shaving cream, has guaranteed I have summer-ready legs. :D

Folger's French Roast- Image from kaboodle.com

Last, but DEFINITELY not least, is my Folger's French Roast. If you know me, you know that I love coffee. And yes, I drink stuff other than Folger's, when I am out and need a quick coffee, but as far as homebrew goes (in the coffee world, at least) I am sticking with Folger's French Roast. yummmmy.

And that was this Monday's 'Products I can't get enough of!'

Have a great week. And if you would, cross your fingers for me, as I am on the front lines of the job search battle, and I'm hoping this is the week for the good news!

Weddings!

I really and truly cannot believe that I haven't posted this before today...

This past December, I had the honor of attending a wedding that I had made the decorations for (along with my team, Megan Matthews, Nicole Sonnier, and Dr. Gay Wakefield). It was a truly proud and wonderful moment for me.

The wedding took place on Winter Solstice and was at night time, and ended up being TOTALLY gorgeous! It was at Cole Chapel in Denton, Texas. What a wonderful wedding!

These are the aisle markers, close up... The theme was very natural and wintery.

View of the chapel from the entrance. So gorgeous, when all the lights were off, and no sun through the stained glass!

And here is a view of the chancel. Yes, those are REAL tree stumps, with floral sticks, lit branches and more. :D Also, notice the swags hanging on the wall, I made those on the fly. Awesome! :D

What has been your favorite wedding theme that you have ever seen?

I don't burn bridges, I torch them...

But honestly. I came up with this lovely little saying the other day, after another one of those nights where I finally get to the point where I can't deal with drama anymore and I simply start to NOT. CARE.

I don't know a lot of people like me. I'm not too wishy-washy. You know, with ummm, hemmms and haws and maybe so, maybe no. I'm pretty black and white.

Like with school. I'm done. I might just sprint down the aisle and snatch my diploma from Dr. D and run off the stage screaming. At least in my dreams... I'm so ready for this next point in my life I could just tell everyone about it. All the time!

I can't wait for a normalized schedule so that I can do crafts again. And have a moment to think about anything but papers, keeping teachers happy, a wacky work schedule (due to school), and how to motivate people to help me out with group work.

DONE DONE DONE.

On another note, I turn 24 on Tuesday. I think I may hit my mid-life crisis.

That's all, lovelies. Have a fab weekend.

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaack.

Okay, I'm mostly caught up on my school work, except after this post I need to cram for a quiz that I have at 11. :)

So I've been busy. What's new?  I hate that word. I feel like I overuse it, but it honestly fits. I get up, get work done, clean the house, do homework, go to class (most of the time), study, take tests, go to work, I NEED MORE HOURS IN THE DAY.

Here are some lovely pictures from my life in the past month or so. :)

Christmas morning. Broth and seest during present opening time. Always my favorite pictures to take, because everyone is always thrilled. :)
Cade helping me test out my new Canon Rebel! :)
Fath and Crista working on a meal. Actually, Crista working, my dad "coaching." haha
So I came home and we have a pool/ping pong table in the old living room now. Also a foozball table. And a Playstation. This made for some interesting game time fun with the fam during the break. My dad says I giggle too much during ping pong. lol
This is Midnight! She's an old girl, and we caught her with evidence of her digging with the caked-on dirt on her nose. Nice try, sugar.

PJ Party! I apparently missed this conversation. Happy Birthday to Rosie, and fun wearing pajamas! :)
Me and Bo. He loves me sometimes. Also, he is crazy. And dating my bffaeaeae.
I did not take this picture, but I am so glad to have it! This is Garrett, he is awesome, and if I'm not married by the age of 27, we are marrying each other. :) Haha
Brittnee and Kaitlin getting ready for Josh Abbott at City Limits on NYE 2011! Funnnn.
 Me and Brittnee. Little sugar.
 Kaitlin and Kat.
Also, Chinese lanterns, were a failed experiment at 3AM on New Year's. But hey, good effort!

A good friend of mine, Jordan, turned 21 and we celebrated in the Stockyards. Dinner at Pappadeaux (I'll have to add a picture of the seafood fondeaux that I had, YUUUUUM). It was such a wonderful time, and I'm so blessed to have people like her in my life! :)
Matt and Jordan! :) What gangsters. :)
Handsome boys! Seriously, they are presh. :)
Matt giving Krystal a ride from one of the bars/dance halls. hahahaha. Awesome.
This was my latest crafty project. I was given these candlestick holders from my grandma, they were quite an atrocious green, yellow color. yuck. So project time!

I painted a gold paint/water mixture over the entire candlestick. Let dry.
Then, BLACK paint. My favorite to decorate with. haha
Halfway through one of the holders. Look at the gold coming through! :)
Finished product on my dresser in my room. I  need large pillar candles for them, but that will have to wait. Also, my two favorite wine bottles are in the middle. Pink Truck (not good, but cute bottle) and my Otazu Rosado from Espana! SO GOOD. And everyone who has had it loves it.

Due to unforseen circumstances...

Good news: I will be starting my 45 days of Pinterest!
Bad news: it won't be until February.

Starting my last semester of college, plus going to the Stockyards in Fort Worth, plus New Year's, plus radically changing my eating habits, plus unexpected filling in at work has kept me busy!

But I'm about to polished my routine and get back on the blogging Wagon!

Bear with me friends (Toni!)

I'll update later today with pictures from my snazzy new camera.. :)

30 days of Pinterest.

It's almost the New Year, and you know what that means... time to make resolutions! :)

In honor of being me, and not wanting to follow the crowd... I am committing to 45 days of Pinterest!

I love Social Media. It loves me back. :) And I want to do something nice for social media and give it some free air time, so I will be blogging my way through 45 days of Pinterest recipes, crafts, organizational tips, and maybe even some clothes, jewelry, and shoes to reward myself!

I am really looking forward to it, and I'm hoping that the other Social Media Queens in my life may have some input... GUEST BLOGGING!

If you have any suggestions, be sure to mention me with an @ on My Pinterest page .

I'm looking forward to it!

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and most of all, a very Happy New Year!
